Wash Bay Technician – 1st & 2nd Shift
ATC, Inc. – Cedar Rapids, IA
$17 – $25 per hour + $1/hr 2nd shift differential | Full-time

We’re looking for dependable, hard-working Wash Bay Technicians to keep our trailers and equipment looking clean, safe, and ready for service. If you enjoy hands-on work and want to be part of a growing team, this could be the perfect role for you.
What You’ll Do
- Wash and clean trailers, truck-mounted equipment, and other shop vehicles
- Operate pressure washers and cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Perform basic inspections to identify visible damage or issues
- Prep trailers for repair or inspection as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized wash bay area
- Assist shop technicians and staff as needed with shop duties
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in outdoor conditions
- Prior wash bay, detailing, or equipment cleaning experience is a plus
What We Offer
Compensation & Schedule
- $17 – $25 per hour (based on experience)
- $1/hour shift differential for 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)
- 1st shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday
- No mandatory weekends — optional weekend/holiday availability is a plus

As our business grows, we’re looking for experienced Trailer Mechanics to join our 1st and 2nd shift teams. If you're skilled in diagnosing and repairing trailers and want to work in a shop that values your expertise, this is your opportunity.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair dry vans, flatbeds, reefers, and other trailer types
- Repair air brake systems, suspensions, lighting, and electrical systems
- Service landing gear, doors, floors, roof panels, and bodywork
- Complete DOT inspections and related documentation
- Perform welding and minor fabrication (preferred but not required)
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and findings
- Operate safely and efficiently in a clean, team-focused environment
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of trailer repair experience (preferred)
- Strong skills in air brake, suspension, and lighting system repairs
- Welding/fabrication experience is a plus
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Must bring your own tools
- Ability to lift, kneel, bend, and work in and around trailers and equipment

We’re growing and looking for skilled Diesel Mechanics to join our 1st and 2nd shift teams. If you’re an experienced tech who values competitive pay, steady hours, and opportunities to advance, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Perform diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on medium/heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, diesel & gasoline engines, and hydraulics.
- Complete DOT inspections and required documentation.
- Accurately document findings and repair steps.
- Conduct road service calls as needed (optional weekend/holiday availability is a plus but not required).
- Work safely and efficiently as part of a professional, team-oriented shop.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years experience in diesel mechanic or heavy equipment repair (preferred).
- Strong background in diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must supply your own tools.
- Ability to lift, bend, climb, kneel, and work in/around trucks and trailers.
